ORDER

Present:        Sh. Jagdev Sheoran, Advocate for the complainant.

                     None for OP no.1.

           Case file taken up today on the application moved by Sh. Rajender Verma, Advocate, counsel for ICICI Lombard GIC Ltd. The counsel for the complainant Sh. Jagdev Sheoran has made no objection upon the application. Learend counsel for the OP no.3   has made a statement  that the matter has been compromised and  the insurance company is ready to make the payment of Rs.62,900/- towards full and final settlement of the claim of the complainant. He further stated that the aforesaid amount shall be paid by the Insurance company within 30days from the date of passing of order. Sh. Jagdev Sheoran, counsel for the complainant has also made a statement that complainant is ready to get the aforesaid amount of Rs. 62,900/- in full and final settlement of claim and further prayed that if the company fails to make the payment of aforesaid amount within 30 days in that eventuality the interest @9% per annum from the date of filing of complaint till payment may kindly be awarded. Statement to this effect recorded separately.

In view of the statement made by the parties, the present complainant is disposed off with the direction the insurance company shall make the payment of Rs. 62,900/- within 30 days, if the insurance company fails to make the payment of aforesaid amount within 30 days, the insurance company shall be liable to pay interest @9% per annum  from the date of filing of complaint till payment. Complaint stands disposed off accordingly. File be consigned to the record room after due compliance. Copy of order be supplied to the parties free of cost.
