This appeal is by the Complainant against the order dated 22.09.2010 whereby the complaint has not been admitted by the Forum below.  The above complaint was filed by the Complainant alleging that he made an application under RTI Act, 2005 before the O.P. No. 1 seeking information relating to the status of his representations dated 27.11.2009 and 01.02.2010 made to the Chairman/Chairperson of the Public Service Commission, West Bengal which has not been replied to by the said O.P. No. 1.  Admittedly the Complainant is an Inspector of Kolkata Police and presently working on deputation at Police Training College at Barrackpore.

It has not been disclosed in the complaint petition, the subject matter upon which the aforesaid representations dated 27.11.2009 and 01.02.2010 were made by him to the Chairperson of the Public Service Commission, West Bengal nor the occasion for making such representation.  In the absence of such particulars it cannot be decided whether the said Chairman/Chairperson, PSC, W.B. was obliged to disclose information relating to the status of such representations.  The said Chairman/Chairperson, PSC, W.B. is not obliged under the RTI Act, 2005 to divulge information on all sundry matters at the instance of anyone or everyone.  We, therefore, do not find any merit in this appeal.  The same is accordingly dismissed.
