[1]     Adv.S.S.Jinsiwale is present for the appellant.  He has filed his vakalatnama on record.  He has failed to take appropriate steps to serve respondent. 

[2]     Adv.Jinsiwale has fairly conceded that the complainant/respondent has already paid the bill in question to the other office of the appellant/opponent.  However, since at the relevant time, there was no computer system, said payment of bill did not reflect in the accounts of the appellant.  Since, payment of the bill was not informed to the appellant; appellant disconnected the electricity supply for two days.  District Forum, Thane has awarded Rs.2,000/- as compensation to the respondent/complainant. 

[3]     It is very clear fact that the electricity connection was disconnected even the payment of bill was made.  Therefore, District Forum has held the opponent/appellant guilty in rendering deficiency in service.  We do not find merit in appeal.  Hence, the appeal stands dismissed.  No order as to costs.
