          Advocate Mr. Kukadey is present for the appellant along with authorized representative  of the appellant. Respondent Mr. Lad is present in person with proxy advocate Miss Shahu holding authority of advocate Mr. Kasture, counsel for the respondent. An application is jointly filed by both the parties seeking recording the compromise and for modification of the order passed by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Yavatmal in consumer complaint No. 9/2006 as the dispute is amicably settled between the parties. The appellant has settled the entire claim of the respondent at the total sum of Rs. 5,00,000/- inclusive of costs, compensation and interest. The appellant agrees that the statutory amount of Rs. 25,000/- deposited with the District Forum, Yavatmal be refunded to the respondent/original complainant. The balance amount of Rs. 4,75,000/- would be paid to the respondent by the appellant within six weeks. The appeal is therefore disposed of in terms of the compromise, executed between both the parties.
