CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO.64  OF  2023

Sh.Saurav Tyagi, Advocate for OP alongwith Sh.Prabhjot Singh, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer/Authorized Representative of OP.

ORDER

1.   At this stage, vide his separate statement, Sh.Prabhjot Singh, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer/Authorized Representative of OP has stated that the matter has been settled between the parties amicably and as per settlement, the OP shall pay lumpsum amount of Rs.10,000/- to the complainant within a period of 15 days from today(27.05.2024) in full and final settlement of the present matter, failing which the OP shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 12% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint. Vide his separate statement, Sh.Vivek Sharma, Complainant, has admitted the aforesaid statement of Sh.Prabhjot Singh, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer/Authorized Representative of OP and prayed that the complaint be disposed of in terms of aforesaid settlement.

2.   In view of the statements of the authorized representative of OP & complainant and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed of by passing the following order:-

1. OP shall pay lumpsum amount of Rs.10,000/- to the complainant within a period of 15 days from today(27.05.2024) in full and final settlement of the present matter.
2. In case OP fails to pay the aforesaid amount within the stipulated period, then OP shall be liable to pay the same alongwith interest @ 12% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint i.e. 09.02.2023 till the payment is made.

3.   Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned
