This revision by opposite parties 2 and 3-manufacturers of tiles is directed against the order dated 16.10.2009 of Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission Punjab, Chandigarh whereby while allowing appeal filed by the respondents/complainants, the petitioners have been ordered to refund amount of Rs.53,613/- with interest @7.5% per annum from the date of filing of complaint to the respondents/complainants. Discussion made in para 18 of the said order would show that tiles were purchased between August, 2002 to first week of December, 2002 and after fitting the tiles developed defects. In para 19 it is stated that even the petitioners admitted that the fainting of colour and cracks were inherent characteristic in the tiles. Having heard Mr. Sharma and the reasons recorded by State Commission, we do not find any illegality or jurisdictional error in the order of State Commission warranting interference in revisional jurisdiction under Section 21(b) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. Dismissed.
