                   This case is fixed for today before National Lok Adalat on the request of learned counsel for parties for compromise. Statements of learned counsel for op no.3 and learned counsel for complainant recorded separately. Learned counsel for complainant has suffered a statement that company is ready to pay 60% of the cost of the machine which comes to Rs.17,000/- and company is ready to pay Rs.4000/- as compensation and litigation charges within one month and in case company fails to pay the above said amount within said period then company may be directed to pay the above said amount of Rs.17,000/- alongwith interest @6% per annum from the date of order till realization. She has further stated that complainant will hand over the machine to Samsung Care Center of the company and present complaint may be disposed of accordingly as per compromise.

                   Learned counsel for op no.3 has also suffered a statement that company is ready to pay Rs.17,000/- being 60% of the cost of the machine which is four years old and is also ready to pay Rs.4000/- as compensation and litigation expenses to the complainant within one month and same is acceptable to the complainant. He has further stated that complaint may be directed to hand over the machine to Samsung Care Center of company within 10 days and complaint may be disposed of accordingly as per compromise in the National Lok Adalat.  

                    In view of the above statements of learned counsel for the parties, this complaint stands disposed of accordingly being compromised and op no.3 shall pay the amount of Rs.17,000/- being 60% of the cost of the washing machine in question to the complainant and also shall pay amount of Rs.4000/- as compensation and litigation expenses to the complainant within one month from today, failing which complainant will be entitled to the above said amount of Rs.17,000/- alongwith interest @6% per annum from the date of this order till actual payment. The complainant is directed to hand over the machine in question to the Samsung Care Center of the company within 10 days from today against proper receipt. A copy of this order be supplied to the parties free of costs. File be consigned to the record room.
