1.  Pleadings of the Complainant.

The complainant   entered into an oral contract with the opposite parties, for doing the interior wooden work for her house under construction.  Total amount was agreed upon as Rs. 4,10,000/- and paid Rs. 3,24,000/- on various dates from 08/12/2021 to 01/02/2022.  The work was to be completed before 20/02/2022.  When the complainant assessed the work done, it was found that the opposite parties have done work worth Rs. 1,75,000/-  Though she insisted them to complete all works as agreed, they have not.  Hence this complaint seeking a compensation of Rs. 3,49,000/-.

2.   Notices were issued to the opposite parties.  They didn't enter appearance and hence were set ex-parte.

3.   The complainant did not file proof affidavit or mark any document as evidence. Hence the case was taken for orders.

4.   As the complainant failed to adduce any evidence to prove her pleadings, this Commission is not in position to look into the merits of the case and to pass orders as envisaged in the Section 38 of Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

5.   In the result, the complaint is dismissed as the complainant failed in proving a prima-facie case against the opposite parties.

Pronounced in open court on this the 5th day of May, 2023.
