Present:      Sh. Nirmal Kishore, Proxy counsel for counsel for Appellant.

                  Sh. Virender Kumar, Respondent in person.

        It is stated that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties. The appellant has agreed to pay a sum of Rs. 18,000/- to the respondent in full and final settlement of the complaint case which the respondent/complainant had filed before the District Forum and has been decided by the impugned order.

        Respondent also states that he has settled the matter and has no objection if the impugned order stands modified in terms of settlement between the parties. Respondent also states that on getting the payment of Rs. 18,000/- he shall return the AC in question to the appellant.

        Counsel for the appellant states that the aforesaid amount shall be given to the respondent within 4 weeks from today.

        In view of the above settlement between the parties, the present appeal stands disposed of as having settled.s

        After the payment received is filed by the appellant, the Registry shall release the FDR in favour of the appellant.

        File be consigned to record room.
