ORDER
NARESH KATYAL, JUDICIAL MEMBER:
Today, this appeal is fixed for arguments. Perusal of appeal file reveals that appellants are not being represented since 18.11.2021 onwards i.e. for last seven dates, including one today. Today also, this appeal was called number of times, but, none has appeared on behalf of appellants. Inept attitude of appellants for not appearing either through its Director or not through its authorized counsel who filed his power of attorney along with appeal, is writ large apparent. It is already 02:15 P.M. Waited sufficiently. Further wait is quite unjustified. In these circumstances, it appears to the satisfaction of this Commission that appellants are no more interested in prosecuting this appeal, which cannot be allowed to linger on for indefinite period under any circumstance mainly due to want of presence of appellants or their authorized counsel. So, this appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution and ordered accordingly.
2. Statutory amount of Rs.25,000/- deposited by appellants at the time of filing of this appeal be refunded to it, after due identification and verification as per rules and on expiry of period meant for further appeal /revision, if any.
3. A copy of this order be provided to all the parties free of cost as mandated by the Consumer Protection Act, 1986/2019. The order be uploaded forthwith on the website of the Commission for the perusal of the parties.
4. File be consigned to the record room.
