Delay in filing of the Appeals is condoned.

At the outset, learned Counsel appearing for the Appellant in this bunch of 12 Appeals submits that the Appellant is willing to pay to the Complainants the interim compensation, as directed by the Fora below in the orders impugned in these Appeals, but it may be clarified that the Appellant will be entitled to account for the amount(s) so paid against the interest, which may be payable by each of the Complainants on account of the delay in deposit of the installments on time.     

        In view of the said statement on behalf of the Appellant, all the Appeals are dismissed, with the observation that if any amount towards interest is due from the Complainants in terms of the letters of allotment, which contain all the terms and conditions governing the allotment of the subject flats, the payment of any amount in terms of the impugned order shall have no bearing on the question of payment of overdue interest, which shall be decided at the time of final disposal of the Complaints. 

        It goes without saying that I have not expressed any opinion on the question of liability of the Complainants towards overdue interest, on account of the alleged delay on their part in making regular payment of the installments.

        All the Appeals stand disposed of in the above terms.
