Present application has been moved by applicant/ appellant in Appeal no.2228 of 2015, Cholamandalam General Insurance Co. Ltd. vs. Satendra Singh and Anr. For refund of Rs.25,000.00 deposited by appellant under Section 15 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 in this appeal.

Copy of judgment and order dated 7.3.2018 passed by a bench of this State Commission in said appeal has been annexed with the application. It shows that appeal has been dismissed. The impugned judgment land order passed by District Forum has been upheld.

In view of above, the above amount deposited in the above appeal under section 15 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 shall be remitted to the District Consumer Forum alongwith interest, if any, accrued, who shall pass appropriate order for disposal of the same in accordance with law.

Application is disposed of accordingly.
