ORDER

Present    :-      Ms. Sonal Chouhan, Advocate for DH.

                        Shri Prashant Kumar, Counsel for applicant.

An application of OP/JD for reviewing the order dated 22.03.2022 is pending which was filed on 09.11.2022. Reply has already been filed. Argument heard. File perused. Section 40 Consumer Protection Act read as under

"The District Commission shall have the power to review any of the order passed by it if there is an error apparent on the face of the record, either of its own motion or on an application made by any of the parties within thirty days of such order."  

 

As per this section the review application can only be filed within 30 days of the impugned order under challenge. It has been filed after about 8 months of the impugned order. Not only this, no application seeking condonation of delay has been filed.  Therefore, application seeking review is dismissed being barred by law.

Decree otherwise has already been satisfied.
