Common Oral Order in Consumer Complaint No.548 of 2016 + Consumer Complaint No.549 of 2016 + Consumer Complaint No.550 of 2016 + Consumer Complaint No.551 of 2016 + Consumer Complaint No.558 of 2016

          In all these consumer complaints, none present for the Complainants even on second call.  Today Complainants not only failed to appear before this Forum without any sufficient reason but also failed to lead their evidence as contemplated under Section-13(2)(b)(ii) read with Section-13(4) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 in compliance with earlier order dated 19/09/2016.  Perusal of the order-sheet reveals that so was the position even on previous two adjourned dates viz. 02/01/2017 and 10/11/2016.  Thus, in such peculiar circumstances, it does appear to this Forum that Complainants have lost their interest in further prosecution of these consumer complaints.  In such circumstances, it is not desirable to unnecessarily prolong these cases.  Hence, in accordance with provisions of Section-13(2)(c) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 read with Rule-4(7) of the Maharashtra Consumer Protection Rules, 2000; all these consumer complaints stands dismissed for want of prosecution.  Under these circumstances, parties shall bear their own costs.
