Counsel for Opposite Party No.1, Sh.Vishal Chaudhary, Advocate suffered a statement which is recorded in this Forum on 18.05.2017 to the effect that the Opposite Party No.1 is ready for compromise for the replacement of washing machine or refund the price within 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of the order. Similarly Sh.Vinay Kapoor, Complainant after hearing the statement of Counsel for Opposite Party No.1 admitted the same by stating that he is ready to accept the refund the price of the washing machine and further stated that the present complaint may be decided accordingly.

As both the parties got compromise amicably, so accordingly complaint of the complainant is accepted and in terms of compromise, the Opposite Party No.1 is liable to refund the price of the washing machine within 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of the order, failing which, the complainant will be entitled to get interest thereon @ 9% per annum from the date of order till realisation. Accordingly this complaint is disposed of. Copy of the order be supplied to the parties, free of cost, as per rules. File be consigned to the record room.
