          This is a complaint filed u/s.12  (a) of Consumer Protection Act, 1986 for directing the Opposite Party to pay ;

1. a sum of Rs.1,37,580/- towards additional expenditure incurred by him for performance of marriage;
2. a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- as compensation towards mental torture and mental agony suffered by the complainant
3. to return the advance amount of Rs.10,000/-;
4. to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- towards cost.

          2. Notice to the opposite party was served.  The Opposite party appeared through Counsel and filed Reply Station.   On the side of complainant CW1 to C4 were examined and Exs. Exs.C1 to C13 were marked. 

          3. Today this complaint was called.  Both parties filed Memo stating that the matter between the parties settled out of court.  The complainant agreed for a sum of Rs.30,000/- as compensation and a sum of Rs.10,000/- the advance amount paid. Hence, prayed for dismissal of the complaint.

4. In view of the memo filed by both the parties, this complaint is hereby dismissed as not pressed and settled.  The memo is part and parcel of the case. No cost.
