View 2230 Cases Against Sahara Q Shop
Dev Muni Pal filed a consumer case on 01 Feb 2019 against Sahara Q Shop Unique Product Range Limited in the DF-II Consumer Court. The case no is CC/625/2018 and the judgment uploaded on 25 Feb 2019.
With the efforts of Lok Adalat, the parties have amicably settled the matter. As per settlement the counsel for the Ops has handed over two cheques of Rs.82,000/- dated 31.1.2019 and Rs.40,000/- dated 2.2.2019 for a total sum of Rs.1,22,000/-. The counsel for the Ops has stated that this settlement arrived at between the parties may not be treated as precedent. He further stated that cheque dated 2.2.2019 be presented only on the date mentioned therein.
The complainant who is present in person alongwith his counsel has accepted the cheques aforesaid towards full and final settlement. Copies retained on file. The complainant has also handed over all the original documents to the counsel for the OPs which have been duly received by him. The complainant now wants to withdraw the complaint being settled. The counsel for the complainant has appended a note in this regard on the complaint duly signed by the complainant.
In view of the above the complaint stands disposed off. However, in case the aforesaid cheques handed over today to the complainant by the OPs are dishonoured then OPs shall be liable to pay additional amount of Rs.5000/- to the complainant on each cheque and thereafter shall pay the amount of dishonoured cheques by way of demand draft within 10 days from the date of dishonor. If even then the OPs are failed to pay the amount in that case the complainant would be at liberty to file execution application.
Certified copy be sent to the parties free of charge. After compliance file be consigned.
