File was taken up in Lok Adalat and today in Lok Adalat Ld. counsel for the opposite party has made the following statement:-

“Stated that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and opposite party is ready to pay Rs. 14,000/- as per settled amount to the complainant.”

          On the statement of opposite party, the Ld. counsel for the complainant has made the following statement:-

“Stated that I have heard the statement given by the opposite party and I accept the offer given by the counsel for opposite party and except this amount nothing is due towards the opposite party of the complainant. I do not want to pursue the present complaint further and same may be dismissed as withdrawn having been compromised.”

          In view of ibid statements the present complaint is dismissed as withdrawn having been compromised. The parties are directed to remain bound by their respective statements. Copy of order will be supplied by District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Amritsar to the parties as per rules. File be sent back to the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Amritsar.
