Order dt.27/08/1992<br /> <br /> Perused complaint and written Statement and affidavit filed by the complainant. Complainant's case is that he paid Rs.1700/- to the respondent and received a stove run by liquid fule. For six months fuel was supplied. Thereafter it was stopped. The stove became infunctionus. Inspite of demands respondent did not supply the fuel. The stove became idle and consequently complainant suffered inconvenience etc.,<br /> <br /> Respondent filed his objection admitting selling of stove but pleadede his inability to supply fuel since his manufacturer did not supply the same. He has not adduced evidence. The complainant's case is proved by his affidavit. However, he has his stove with him.<br /> <br /> The respondent is directed to pay compensation of Rs.500/- towards inconvenience casued to the complainant and Rs.500/- as costs. The respondent shall refund the entire a amount of Rs.1700/- on condition that complainant shall return the original stove in tact and without defect.
