A.K Singh filed a consumer case on 04 Oct 2013 against SBI Pasighat in the East Siang Consumer Court. The case no is CC/14/45 and the judgment uploaded on 30 Nov -0001.
JUDGEMENT & ORDER
The complainant present in person. Mr. Alok Das, Chief Manager, represented State Bank of India, Pasighat Branch.
According to Anil Kr. Singh, the signature found in the Cheque bearing No. 131410 through which an amount of Rs. 45,000/- was drawn from his SBI bank Account was not put by him.
Mr. Alok Das, Chief Manager representing SBI submitted that the signature put in the Cheque No.131410 was sent to Forensic Laboratory for examination. According to their report, the signature put in the cheque is found to be similar with the sample signature obtained from the complainant.
Bank Manager also alleged negligence on the part of complainant, as the said Cheque was lost from his possession and sought for befitting punishment for harassing the Bank.
Heard both the parties and examined the documents as well as report of Forensic Laboratory which can be taken as an expert advice. Report highlighted that the signature found in the Cheque in question and the sample signatures obtained from the complainant are similar.
After taking all the above things in consideration, the Forum has decided that there is no fault on the part of the bank. The case is disposed off with no cost..
Copies of this order be given to both the parties.
