Record is taken up for passing order on the joint petition of compromise filed by the complainant and the OP-1 who compromised this matter through this Lok Adalat. As per this settlement complainant agrees to receive Rs. 4,00,000=00 from OP-1 towards the settlement of the personal insurance claim under the policy. Perused the joint compromise petition dated 09.12.2017 filed by the complainant and the OP-1 who put

their signature respectively and prays for direction upon the OP-1 to issue a cheque in favour of the complainant under the policy of Rs. 4,00,000=00. The cheque should be issued within 30 days as per the said settlement in this Lok Adalat. However, if the parties failed to come in settlement under their terms and conditions, then the complainant is at liberty to proceed according to law.  Thus the matter is disposed of accordingly through this Lok Adalat.

            Let plain copies of this order be supplied to the parties free of cost as per provisions of law.
