This appeal coming up before us on 31.07.2023 for withdrawal of appeal and this Commission made the following Order in open court:

When the matter is taken for consideration, the Counsel appearing for the appellant/ 1st opposite party has submitted that the matter has been settled amicably between the parties and a Memo of withdrawal has been filed by the appellant/ 1st opposite party to that effect.
In the Memo of withdrawal, it has been stated that the 2nd respondent / 2nd opposite party has paid a sum of Rs.60,000/- to the 1st respondent / complainant by way of a Demand Draft dt.20.03.2023 bearing No.502973 drawn on Union Bank of India. The proofs regarding payment and receipt by the 1st respondent / complainant have been enclosed with this Memo of withdrawal. Hence, the appellant / 1st opposite party submits before this Commission to withdraw this appeal.
Perused. In view of the Memo and proofs, this appeal is disposed off. Memo of Withdrawal shall form part of the order. No costs.
The appellant/1st opposite party is entitled for the receipt of the Mandatory deposit.
Hence, the Registry is directed to discharge the mandatory deposit along with accrued interest in favour of the appellant / 1st opposite party.
