COMPLAINT UNDER SEC. 12 OF THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, 1986.

Present:       Mr.Pankaj Chandgotia, Adv., for the complainant.

                   Mr.Akhil Bansal, Owner/Partner for the Ops.

                   Service of Ops is complete and Owner/Partner for the Ops has made a separate statement in which he states that he being the owner of respondent-restaurant shall not include service charges in the restaurant bill in future. Further regarding the menu, he has mentioned “Government Taxes Extra” on the opening page of the menu, to put an end to any controversy in the regard. Counsel for the complainant has also made a separate statement in which he states that he has read the statement made by the owner of the respondents. He has no further claim against the respondent except that they remain bound by the said statement. He wants to withdraw his present complaint in view of the statement of Ops.              

                   Heard. In view of the statements, the present complaint is hereby dismissed as withdrawn. We order accordingly.

                   A copy of this order be sent to the parties free of costs and file be consigned to record room after due compliance.
