    JUDGMENT

   Sri A.K.Purohit, President                                                            

 1.       The case of the complainant is that, he had purchased two tickets from the counter of the O.P’s cinema hall and paid Rs.200/- towards price of the ticket. The complainant was allotted with ticket for seat No. F9 and F 10 and accordingly he along with his wife occupy the said two seats to see the movie MIsson Mangal. The complainant alleges that, on the same day at about 8.25 P.M. a boy of the cinema hall came with two persons and asked the complainant to vacate the seat as the same has already been allotted through online booking. To this the complainant complained before the Manager of the cinema hall but the Manager denied to solve the issue. Hence the complaint.

2.       The O.P. contested the case by filing his written version. According to the O.P. inadvertently the complainant was allotted with F9 and F 10 tickets although the same has already been allotted to online purchaser. To this the O.P. requested the complainant to shift to another sit which were lying vacant but the complainant denied the same and started quarrel with the cinema hall staff. The O.P. claims dismissal of the case.

3.      Heard the complainant who appears in person. Perused the complaint petition, written version and material available on record. The O.P. has admitted that, F9 and F1o tickets were allotted in the counter as well as through online purchase. In Para 4 of the written version the O.P. has admitted that the complainant is entitled to refund of the price of the ticket. In the complaint petition the complainant has also prayed for refund of Rs.200/- which is the price of the tickets. So far compensation is concerned the complainant has not produced any specific evidence for the loss he has sustained. Besides Xerox copy of two tickets the complainant has not produce any other evidence either by way of affidavit or otherwise.

4.        Under the aforesaid admitted facts, the O.P. is liable to refund the price of the ticket to the complainant. Hence ordered:-

                                                             O R D E R

           The O.P. is directed to pay Rs.200/- (Two Hundreds ) to the complainant within fifteen days from the date of receipt of this order. There shall be no order as to cost.

Order pronounced in the open Forum to-day the 18th day of February 2020.

               Accordingly the case is disposed of.
