This is a revision petition filed under section 17(b) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 by the opposite parties in CC.164/13 on the file of CDRF, Idukki challenging the order of the Forum making them exparte on July 22, 2013.

2.          Heard both sides. 

3.          Taking into consideration the nature of the contentions raised by the parties we feel that an opportunity should be given to the revision petitioners to contest the case on merits.  That being so revision petition has to be allowed.

In the result revision petition is allowed.  The impugned order of the Forum setting the revision petitioners exparte dated:22.7.2013 is setaside.  Revision petitioners are permitted to file version before the Forum and contest the case on merits.
