ORDER

1.        In compliance with the notice/order dated 15.05.2020 & 29.05.2020 of the Hon’ble State Commission, U.T. Chandigarh, case taken up through video conferencing due to outbreak of COVID-19 & measures to control it, as per Standard Operating Procedure framed by Hon’ble State Commission.

2.        Office has appended an endorsement that counsel for complainant has been informed for today telephonically. Besides it, link has also been sent but he has not turned up. The learned counsel for OP No.1 stated at bar that on compromise arrived at inter se parties outside the Forum; amount has been disbursed to the complainant. This is the reason neither the complainant nor his counsel putting in appearance despite message having been sent to him. Order dated 17.06.2020 perused which shows that counsel for complainant Sh.Ishant Khangwal, Advocate, had stated that he wanted to withdraw the present complaint as matter has been settled and wanted to move the application to this effect. Thereafter, he repeatedly absenting. Hence, we trust statement made by counsel for OP No.1, the matter stood compromised and complainant does not want to proceed with the present complaint. Hence, this consumer complaint is dismissed for want of prosecution.
