Order dtd 7/09/2000.case taken on board. the complainant had filed a petition against R eliance Telecom ltd,Shillong claiming compensation for Rs 5000 as damages and for return of Rs 10,500 which he said he had paid sometime in April 1999 for a mobile phone conection.It was alledged that the respondent Reliance Telecom never provided the hand set which he had booked for.Notices were issued by this forum to the parties. Rtespondent on 9/8/2000 replied that the secyurity deoposit had been returned to the claimant Ranjit Kar with a knowledge that the case was to be withdrawn. Claimant also on 11/8/2000 filed a petition withdrawing the case and ststing that the matter had been settled amicably with the respondent . The submissions made in their writting considered.We have no reason to doubt them.Case is accordingly dismissed on withdrawal.
