CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO. 99  OF  2020

AWARD

1.   Vide his separate statement already made on 11.11.2022, Sh.Gaurav Bhardwaj, Counsel for OPs has stated that the matter has been settled between the parties with the term that OPs shall refund an amount of Rs.9092/- to the complainant in full and final settlement within a period of one month failing which the OPs shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 12% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint. Vide his separate statement already made on 11.11.2022, complainant has admitted the statement of counsel for OPs and prayed that the complaint be disposed off in terms of aforesaid settlement in the National Lok Adalat on 12.11.2022.

2.   In view of the statement of the complainant & counsel for OPs and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed of by passing the following order:-

     (i)  OPs shall refund an amount of Rs.9092/- to the complainant within a period of one month from 11.11.2022.

     (ii) In case the aforesaid amount is not paid by the OPs within the stipulated period, then OPs shall be liable to pay the same alongwith interest @ 12% p.a. from the date     of filing of present consumer complaint i.e. 24.02.2020    till its realization.

3.   The award is accordingly passed.

4.   Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
