| Final Order / Judgement | Complainant files hazira. Today is fixed for passing final order/judgment of the case. Judgement is delivered and passed in separate sheets. The order runs as follows:- “ that the consumer case No. 20/s/2015 be and the same is hereby allowed on contest in part against the op nos 1 & 2 with cost and it is dismissed on contest against the Op no3 accordingly disposed of. The Op no 1 & 2 do pay a sum of Rs. 1,50,000/- to the complainants together with 9% interest per annum thereon calculating on and from 28.7.14 which is the date of repudiation of complainant’s claim. Both these Ops are further directed to pay another sum of Rs. 1,00,000/- to the complainant on amount of mental pain, agony and harassment as well as further sum of Rs. 25,000/- by way of punitive damages and also a sum of Rs. 10,000/- as cost of litigation totaling to rs.2,85,000/- within 45 days from the date of this order failing which sice 46th day the amount of Rs. 1,35,000/- alikely along with first maintained amount od Rs. 1,50,000/- shall go on carry interest of 9% per annum till full realization of the said total amount of Rs.2,85,000/-. The complainant are at liberty to put this order /decree in execution if the same is not complied with by the Op nos 1 7 2 within the stipulated period of 45 days from the date of the order as mentioned above. | |
