The complainant has filed this complaint under section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.  According to the complainant, her husband died accidentally on 18^th September, 2006.  According to the complainant, claim was submitted to the government authority but no date is mentioned for submitting the claim.  As there is delay, the complainant has filed application for condonation of delay.  It is opposed by the opponent. We have heard Mr.Ganesh Shikhre, Adv. for the Complainant and Smt.Varsha Chavan, Adv. for the Opponent on the application for condonation of delay.  According to the opponent, no claim was submitted and no explanation is given for delay condonation.  The complainant is unable to satisfy when the claim was submitted.  She has also not produced any evidence to show that the claim was submitted to the opponent or any authority. Delay is not properly explained. There is no reason to condone the delay. Hence, the application filed by the complainant for condonation of delay is hereby rejected. Consequently, the complaint stands dismissed. Parties are left to bear their own costs. Inform the parties accordingly.
