This Consumer Complaint is of the year 2008. Notice was issued by this Commission on 12.5.2008 to the opp. parties. Again the case was listed on 17.3.2022 on which date both the parties were also absent. This Commission directed to issue fresh notice to both the parties and on 8.4.2022 notices were issued to both the parties. Today, on repeated call both the parties are absent. As such, we perused the record and pass the following order:-

2.      The complainant is the owner of the vehicle bearing Registration No.OR-05K- 8831 (Truck) and purchased the said vehicle with financial assistance of OP No.1 by an agreement dated 3.7.2007. Complainant has not filed the said agreement in the complaint petition. The allegation of the complainant is that due to non-payment of one instalment the opp.party seized the vehicle on 24.4.2008, i.e. due to default in payment of instalment for the month of April, 2008. Complainant filed the complaint with prayer to release the vehicle and to pay compensation of Rs.20,30,000/- for their negligence without filing any supporting documents in support of his prayer. Hence, we find no merit in the complaint petition and as such, consumer complaint stands dismissed. No cost.
