JUSTICE SHRI. P.Q. BARKATHALI:  PRESIDENT

Complainant is represented by Siva Kumar.  On a perusal of the complaint it is seen that complainant is a recovery agent of the opposite party bank and his complaint is that on the direction of the opposite party bank he had recovered the loans from the defaulters and the opposite party bank did not pay to the complainant the agreed amount.  In the circumstances complainant cannot be treated as a consumer as defined under section 2(1)(d) of the Consumer Protection Act.  Hence complaint is found not maintainable and the same is hereby dismissed.  He can approach other appropriate Forum to redress his grievance.
