      As per verments made in the complaint, complainant had purchased a insurance policy from the opposite parties to the present complaint. On maturity of policy complainant had approached opposite parties for receiving policy money, but the opposite parties rejected the claim of complainant on the ground that the policy was ‘unclaimed policy’, hence complainant for redressal of his grievance has filed this complaint before this forum.

But this Forum finds no jurisdiction to entertain and try the present complaint because the opposite parties are not residing within the territorial jurisdiction of this Forum and no cause of action wholly or in part has taken placed within district Hamirpur. Hence the complaint is not maintainable before this Forum and original complaint is ordered to be returned to the complainant for filing the same in appropriate Forum. The original documents, if any, be returned after retaining photocopies of the same, to the complainant against proper receipt and identification. The file after registration and needful be consigned to the Record Room.
