Tirath Ram         Versus Reliance General Insurance Company.

Present:       Shri Kailash Sharma, counsel for the Complainant.                                                         Shri  Rakesh Dabaas, counsel for opposite parties Nos.1, 3 & 4.

                   Shri Rakesh Dabaas, counsel for the opposite parties Nos.1, 3 & 4 has made a statement that “I being the authorized representative of M/s. Reliance General Insurance Company Limited, am ready to settle the present matter for total amount of  Rs.20,000/- in full and final settlement towards the claim of the complainant.  A period of 60 days may be given to make the payment of said amount by the insurance company.”

                   Shri Kailash Sharma, counsel for the complainant has made a statement that “I have  heard the statement of counsel for the insurance company .  Offer acceptable to me for and on behalf of the complainant  so as to settle the matter for Rs.20,000/- in full and final settlement towards the claim of the complainant in the present matter.  Complaint may kindly be disposed off accordingly.”

                   On the basis of the statement of  the complainant, the Commission is of the opinion that the complaint is disposed off  with the direction to opposite parties to pay an amount of Rs.20,000/- as full and final settlement towards the claim  of the complainant involved in the present complaint within 60 days from the date of  this order.  File be consigned to the record room.  Copy of this order be sent to the parties concerned free of costs.  File be consigned to the record room.
