Attendance on behalf of complainant has been filed.

Heard the learned lawyer for the complainant on the point of admission and perused the record. This complaint petition  has been filed against officers of the Forest & C.O. Marwan  for compensation for loss due to  damage in crop of complainant by wild animals. The complainant has neither purchased the goods for consideration nor hires  or avails of any services  for consideration,  so he does not come under the purview of Consumer as defined u/s 2 (1) (d) of the Consumer Protection Act 1986.In the circumstances  the complaint petition  is not maintainable and is dismissed at admission stage itself.
