Final Order / Judgement Heard, learned counsel for the appellant and perused the record. It has been submitted on behalf of the appellant that the impugned order dated 28-04-2018 passed in Complain case no. 25 of 2017 is incompetent because it was passed jointly by two non judicial members of the District Forum, of Gopalganj. According to the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 a proceeding before the District Forum should be conducted by the President of District Commission and at least one member thereof sitting together. So, without the President of the District Forum its two non-judicial members sitting together were not competent to conduct proceeding. The Respondent is present. Accordingly, the impugned order of this case is remanded to the District Forum (Commission), Gopalganj for disposal in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
