Present application has been moved by applicant/appellant in Appeal No. 2237 of 2015 Branch Manager, Allahabad Bank V/s Ramesh Chandra Srivastava and others for refund of Rs.25,000/- deposited by appellant under Section-15 of the Consumer Protection Act 1986 in this appeal.

Copy of order dated 23-04-2018 passed by a bench of this State Commission in said appeal has been annexed with the application. It shows that appeal has been partly allowed. The impugned judgment and order passed by District Consumer Forum has been set aside.

In view of above, the above amount deposited in the above appeal under Section-15 of the Consumer Protection Act 1986 shall be remitted to the District Consumer Forum alongwith interest if any accrued, who shall pass appropriate order for disposal of the same in accordance with law.

It is clarified that if payment of compensation amount ordered to be paid by State Commission vide order dated 23-04-2018 passed by this State Commission in Appeal No. 2237 of 2015 Branch Manager, Allahabad Bank V/s Ramesh Chandra Srivastava and others has been paid, the remaining amount shall be refunded to appellant Branch Manager, Allahabad Bank with interest accrued.

Application is disposed of accordingly.
