The complainant has filed the present complaint claiming replacement of inverter of solar system with new one alongwith compensation from opposite parties.

However, Sh.Malkit Singh, Regional Service Manager/Authorized Representative of opposite party No.2 has suffered statement to the effect that he on behalf of opposite party No.2 offers to replace the inverter of solar system in question with new one without any further warranty on the same in full and final settlement of all the claims and demands of the complainant in the present complaint as 2 years warranty has already been availed by the complainant since purchase of first inverter on 01.04.2021 and said inverter alongwith three batteries were earlier also replaced on 12.01.2023 and 02.05.2024. The same shall be replaced within a period of 45 days from the date of handing over the possession of old inverter by the complainant to opposite party No.2.

Sh.S.S Gill, counsel for complainant has also suffered a statement that he accepts the abovesaid offer given by opposite party No.2 and undertakes to supply the old inverter to opposite party No.2 within a period of 15 days from today and this complaint may be disposed off accordingly.

In view of the statements made by Authorized Representative of opposite party No.2 and learned counsel for complainant, the present complaint is disposed off with a direction to opposite party No.2 to replace the inverter of solar system in question with new one in full and final settlement without any further warranty on the same within a period of 45 days from the date of handing over the possession of old inverter by the complainant to opposite party No.2. The compliance period of 45 days for replacing the inverter of solar system in question with new one will start from the date of handing over the old inverter by the complaina nt to opposite party No.2. Certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties free of costs as per rules. File be indexed and consigned to the record room.
