ORDER

SRI.P.V. JAYARAJAN, PRESIDENT:

1. This is a complaint filed under section 35 of Consumer Protection Act 2019 and the matter stood over to this date for consideration.  After hearing the matter the commission passed an order as follows:
2. The case of the complainant in short is that he has purchased a LED TV from the opposite party by paying an amount of Rs.9,000/- as consideration.  Subsequently the said TV developed same complaints and was not functioning.  Though the complainant approached the opposite parties, they have failed to properly respond to the complaint in respect of LED TV purchased by the complainant.  Alleging deficiency in service and unfair trade practice on the part of the opposite parties, the complainant approached this Commission for redressing his grievances.  The complaint was admitted and notice was issued to the opposite parties to appear on 02/12/2021.  On that date the opposite parties entered appearance and expressed their willingness to settle the dispute and sought time for settlement.  Hence the case was adjourned to this date for reporting settlement.  When the case came up for consideration to day before this Commission, the complainant and the opposite party filed a memo stating that the matter is settled.  The complainant also made submission to the effect that he has received the TV in good condition and he has no further grievances against the opposite parties.  In view of the settlement entered between the parties to the dispute, we find that this is a fit case to be dismissed as settled.   

In the result the matter is dismissed as settled.  There will be no order as to cost.           

A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
