ORDER BY HON’BLE MEMBER- MRS. M. SWAIN:

                                                                                        JUDGMENT

             Complainant is a auction purchaser praying waiving of M.V. Tax of Rs.2,47,000/- and to delete the name of complainant from R.C. Book and to return Rs.1,40,000/- etc.

            It is settled principle of law that the auction purchaser cannot be termed as a consumer as defined U/s.2(7) of Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and M.V. Tax cannot be interfere by this Commission is a settled principle of law. As such we find no merit in the consumer complaint. Accordingly the consumer complaint is dismissed with no cost.

            Pronounced in the open Commission on this 21st June,2024.
