Order dated 14.11.2011 passed by the Punjab State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (for short he State Commission in FA No. 1135/2009 is sought to be assailed in the present proceedings by the Amritsar Improvement Trust, through its Chairman. The appeal before the State Commission was filed by the present petitioner against the order dated 13.07.2009 passed by the District Forum Amritsar in Complaint No. 328 of 2009 filed by the respondent / complainant. 2. The present petition has been filed with a delay of 115 days and an application seeking condonation of delay has also been filed. We have considered the reasons set-out in the application, which in our view, do not amount to sufficient cause as has been interpreted by the Supreme Court and various High Courts in umpteen number of cases. We, therefore, decline to exercise our judicial discretion in condoning the delay in filing the present petition. Even then, we have examined the order passed by the Fora below. In our opinion, having regard to the entirety of the facts and circumstances of the case, the orders are justified and do not suffer from any illegality or material irregularity much less any jurisdictional error which calls for any interference by this Commission. The revision petition is accordingly dismissed on both the counts.
