At this stage, compromise has been effected between the parties and in lieu of that compromise, Smt.Shinderpal Kaur, Circle Assistant of PSPCL, Baghapurana has come present on behalf of the Opposite Parties and made a following statement before this Commission:-

“Stated that I received the amount of Rs. 95548/- (Rs.90,000/-  as Demand Draft No.024899 dated 28.10.2024  and Rs.5548/- in cash) from the complainant against the final amount for settlement. I have also received an application from complainant for the permanent disconnection of the connection in dispute and  the process of disconnection will be completed today positively.”

On the other hand, complainant has made a following statement before this Commission:-

          “Stated that as per the final payment calculated by the PSPCL upto dated 28.10.2024 is Rs.95548/-.  I have handed over  Rs.90,000/- as Demand Draft  No.024899 dated 28.10.2024  and balance amount of  Rs.5548/-  as cash to the PSPCL official Smt. Shinderpal  Kaur, Circle Assistant. I have also given the application for the permanent disconnection of my connection under dispute. So, I withdraw the present Complaint.”

In view of the statement made by complainant, the present complaint stands dismissed as withdrawn being compromised. Copy of the order be supplied to the parties free of costs. File be consigned to record room.
