ORDER

Heard. Petitioner/complainant had filed consumer complaint against the respondents/opposite parties on the allegations that heft of Electricityis being committed from the connection installed at the Tube Well of petitioner Board. This matter was reported to the respondents for taking suitable action in the matter. Instead of taking any action for theft of energy, respondents asked the petitioner to deposit the amount. Since the present case pertains to heft of Electricity in view of the order passed by Honle Supreme Court in .P.Power Corporation Ltd. and Others Vs. Anis Ahmed(Civil Appeal No.5466 of 2012 decided on 1.7.2013), the consumer complaints before the District Forum, under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986, are not maintainable. Consequently, above noted petitions are also not maintainable and the same are hereby dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner Board to seek appropriate remedy available to them before the appropriate Forum. Dasti.
