                   THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, 1986

ORDER:     

          Complainant has filed this complaint against the opposite party hereinafter referred to as the “OP” maintaining  that he is permanent resident of village Halwas Gate, Nai Basti, Tehsil & District Bhiwani and he had taken water connection bearing No.11/719 for his house and has been regularly paying the  water connection charges but water does not come  in his house through the pipe line due to some defect in the water lines. It is further averred  that he has made many complaints to the higher authority but no heed was paid, hence this complaint with prayer that  respondent may kindly be  directed to remove the defect to the water line  to enable the complaint to get the water in his house and further respondent may kindly be directed to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- towards compensation for harassment, humiliation, pain and suffering etc. and Rs. 11,000/- as counsel fee.

<>2.3.4.6.7.      Keeping in view  peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, this Commission is of the view that complainant does not deserve for any amount of compensation.   Copy of this order be communicated to the parties free of costs. File be consigned to the record room after due compliance.
