Today Ld. counsel for the complainant has made the following statement:-

Stated that Punjab Govt. has passed one notification bearing memo No.430/435/SV-188/Waiving of Defaulting arrears dated 14.10.2021 and the load of the connection question is less than 2 K.W. and the present complaint pertains to arrears/bills of period before passing the above said notification. I made several efforts to make with the complainant bur the complainant has not contacted to me and it is presumed that the amount of bill/arrears in question have been waived of as per above said notification. IN view of this, I withdraw the present complaint at this stage with liberty to file fresh complaint. On the same cause of action, if the above said amount is not waived of.

In view of ibid statement, the present complaint is dismissed as withdraw and the complainant is permitted to file fresh complaint on the same cause of action, if the above said amount is not waived of as per law. Copy of order will be supplied by the District consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Amritsar as per rules. File be sent back to the District Consuerm Disputes Redressal Commission Amritsar.
