The complainant also made a representation-cum-objections dated 25.6.2010 against the demand notice dated 21.6.2010 before the opposite party no.2 but they refused to entertain the same and directed the complainant to deposit the penalty failing which necessary action would be taken against him. That the demand notice No.757 dated 21.6.2010 of Rs.18240/- imposed as theft of energy plus Rs.3000/- as compounding amount totaling Rs.21240/- is illegal, ultra virus, malaise, without jurisdiction and is liable to be ignored and quashed. That the opposite parties have caused huge loss and mental agony by issuing the said illegal demand notice No.757 dated 21.6.2010 of Rs.18240/- imposed as theft of energy plus Rs.3000/-as compounding amount totaling Rs.21240/- and the order of the opposite parties amounts to deficiency in service and also unfair trade practice as such the complainant is entitled for compensation of Rs.20000/- from the opposite parties. Hence this complaint.
