Present Sh. Amandeep Kansal, Advocate counsel for the complainant.

We have perused the complaint and also the electricity bill dated 1.6.2010, wherein an amount of Rs. 18,283/- has been shown as balance for the current financial year and the status of the meter is shown as 'N', meaning thereby that the reading is not taken. Under what what circumstances the OPs issued the said bill without taking actual reading of the bill in order to raise actual consumption of electric energy bill is apparently not clear. The learned counsel has stated that his client has approached the OPs time and again to supply the details of the amount of Rs. 18,283/- which has been incorporated in the bill dated 1.6.2010 as arrears of current financial year but the OPs are not supplying the required information and thereby he has to file the present complaint. Having regard totality the facts and circumstances of the case and the arguments of the learned counsel, we are of the considered view that the OPs are duty bound to supply the required information as to on what account the complainant an amount of Rs. 18,283/- has been added to the electric energy consumption bill of the complainant dated 1.6.2010. The OPs are accordingly directed to supply the details of the amount of Rs. 18,283/- to the complainant within a period of 10 days from the date the complainant produce a copy of this order in the office of the OPs and in the mean time, the electric connection of the complainant be not disconnected for a period of 30 days from today. The complainant shall be at liberty to approach this Forum, if he is not satisfied with the details supplied to him by the OPs satisfied with the details supplied to him by the OPs with regard to the charges he has been called upon to pay in bill dated 1.6.2010 and other subsequent bills by adding current financial charges i.e. Rs. 18,283/-. With these observations, the present complaint stands disposed of. File be consigned to record room.
