Apropos penultimate contention regarding lack of jurisdiction of Consumer Forum to try this complaint on account of electricity being consumed for commercial purpose, it may be observed that commercial purpose indicates that goods purchased or services rendered may be used in activity directly connected to generate profit which is main aim of commercial purpose, where goods purchased and services hired in activity which is directly not intended to generate profit,it would not be commercial purpose. Therefore, hiring of electricity services by owner of palace even if carrying on commercial activities cannot be held to be commercial purpose.. The electricity services are availed for convenience and comforts of the customers which does not involve trading or commerce in availing electricity services provided by the electricity authorities. Therefore, we find that Consumer Forum has the jurisdiction to try the present complaint.<br /> In the ultimate analysis of aforeszaid discusion, finding no merit in the complaint, same is hereby dismissed with no order as to costs. <br /> Let certified copies of judgment rendered be supplied/despatched to the parties without any unnecessary delay and thereafter file be consigned to record room.<br /> <br /> Announced : ( Surinder Mittal ) ( A.K.
