ORDER

By Smt. Padmini Sudheesh, President: The petitioner’s case is as follows. 1. The petitioner had joined in a kuri vide number PT/2723 under division H13/2 for an amount of Rs.10,000/- in the respondent institution. The second respondent was the owner of the respondent institution. The kuri started on 14.12.2000. The petitioner had remitted the full amount of the kuri. But the respondents did not return the amount so far. Lawyer notice was sent, but no reply, no remedy. 2. The respondents called absent and set exparte. 3. To prove the case of the petitioner, the petitioner has filed an affidavit and the documents produced by her are marked as Exts. P1 to P3. 4. Heard the counsel. 5. According to the petitioner. She is entitled to get the full amount of the kuri with interest. She also claims compensation and costs. There is no contra evidence. 6. So the petition is allowed and the respondents are directed to return the kuri amount of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) to the petitioner with interest at the rate of 12% for each instalment and 6% from today till realisation. She is also entitled for Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) as costs. Comply the order within one month. Dictated to the Confidential Assistant, transcribed by her, corrected by me and pronounced in the open Forum, this the 18th day of June 2008.
