Today is fixed for showing cause by the complainant.
Ld. Counsel for the OP-4 files hazira. No step taken by the complainant. None is present on behalf of the complainant. No show cause is filed on behalf of the complainant.
It is found from the record that on 05.02.2018 vide order No. 4 the complainant was directed to take fresh steps upon the OP Nos. 1 to 4 for service of notice by the complainant and the date was fixed on 27.02.2018. On 27.02.2018 complainant has taken no step and none was present on behalf of the complainant and no fresh steps taken upon the OP Nos. 1, 2 & 3 as the OP-4 appeared on 27.02.2018. Therefore, vide order No. 5 the complainant was directed to show cause as to why the present complaint shall not be dismissed for default and the date was fixed today i.e. on 05.04.2018.
Today also the complainant has not taken any step. None is present on behalf of the complainant and no show cause is filed on behalf of the complainant. So the attitude of the complainant shows that the complainant has lost interest to proceed with the complaint further. So, we have no other alternative but the dismiss the complaint.
Hence, it is
O r d e r e d
that the present Consumer Complaint being No. 255/2017 be and the same is dismissed for default. There is no order as to costs.
Let plain copies of this order be supplied to the parties free of cost as per provisions of law.
